Olivier Quoy, graduated of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, has worked for the French Department of Transport on various positions in charge of infrastructure projects (in Besançon, Strasbourg and Paris) until 2015 when he joined Atlandes. He worked for the French Railways on stations of the high-speed line Paris-Strasbourg in 2001-2002 and was in charge of the French National heavy good vehicle charging scheme from 2007 to 2015. He is now Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by Atlandes, the concessionnaire company of A63 motorway in the South-West of France (Bordeaux area), operating 104 km from Salles to Saint-Geours-de-Marenne

Carl K. Andersen is the Technical Director for the Federal Highway Administration, Office of Operations Research and Development. The Office conducts research on new and advanced technologies that support innovative ways of moving people and goods, and the development of applications that use those technologies. Current focus areas are in developing concepts for the Next Generation of Traffic Management Systems, and conducting research on improved safety and efficiency of the road network through Cooperative Automation. Carl is developing an FHWA Automation Research Roadmap that will support Departmental priorities on automation and define key research needs over the next five years.

Les, a Fellow of Engineers Australia, is highly-regarded internationally for his contributions to the transport engineering industry in the areas of heavy vehicle dynamics, performance based standards, computer simulation and heavy vehicle technology. He has been at the forefront of advocating for PBS since the early 2000s, taking a leading role in pushing the boundaries of innovation necessary to manage the increasing freight task. In September 2017, Les won the prestigious Castrol Vecton Industry Achievement Award at the ATA's Technical and Maintenance Conference. The award, which recognises technical innovation and achievement within the Australian trucking industry, acknowledged Les' passion and expertise as Australia's foremost authority on high productivity freight vehicles.

Bernard Jacob is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He was Technical Director for Road Safety and Operation, and head of the division for road operation signs and lighting with LCPC, and since 2011 Deputy Scientific Director of IFSTTAR. He has expertise in bridge safety, traffic loads on road bridges, heavy vehicle load measurement and overload detection and control, road operation and safety and vehicle trajectories, traffic monitoring and measurement. He is vice-president Science of the International Society for WIM (ISWIM), member of the board of the International Forum for Road Transport Technology (IFRTT), and French secretary of the PIARC technical committee CT2-3 on Freight Transport.

Peter was the former chair of ITS America and an expert in Connected and Automated Vehicles. Dr. Sweatman is an international leader in the scientific field of heavy vehicle-infrastructure interaction. His research has crossed the boundaries of traditional engineering disciplines and his work has been widely recognized in the fields of vehicle design and engineering, vehicle safety, road safety, driver performance, highway condition monitoring, heavy vehicle standards and regulations, and transport economics and policy. He became Director of UMTRI (Uni of Michigan) in 2004, and prior he built Roaduser Systems Pty Ltd. He was also a chief scientist with Australian Road Research Board.
